Yes, Ridin’ Hearts is fully licensed and 18+ only. You cannot bring alcohol into, or remove it from, the Festival.
No, both the Sydney and Melbourne Events are 18+ only.
Acceptable ID must be presented to enter the Festival Site, and to purchase and consume alcohol.
ID documents must be current and include a photo of the person and their date of birth.
Acceptable ID means:
– Driver Licence or Learner Permit (from any country) physical or digital.
– Australian or foreign Passport.
– KEYPASS Photo ID Card (physical or digital).
– Proof of Age Card (physical or digital).
– Any other recognised Proof/Evidence of Age/Identity or Photo Card. All Acceptable ID must be written in English or if not written in English, then accompanied by an official English translation.
For a Foreign Driver Licence not written in English, an International Driver Permit issued in the foreign country of origin (and including a photo of the licence holder and translation) should be presented with the Foreign Driver Licence.

No. Sydney Showground and Caribbean Gardens are cashless venues.
Sydney: The main Festival entrance is off Orana Parade at Sydney Showground.
Melbourne: The main Festival entrance is off Lakeview Drive, Scoresby.
The easiest way to find the Festival entrance for Melbourne is to search for “Event Central at Caribbean Park” as a destination in Google Maps.
Cloakroom facilities are not available in the general Festival area, but they are available exclusively for Diamond Club ticket holders inside Jack & Jolene’s Bar.
No, we will not be accepting volunteers.

Yes, there will be a First Aid area at the Festival, with certified responders on location.
We’ll be releasing the Festival map on the Ridin’ Hearts website closer to the Festival dates, so check back for location details.
There will be a range of food and drink available for purchase at each Festival, including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options.

If you lose something at the Festival, please leave your details at the Box Office, located near the main entry gate.

Ridin’ Hearts Festival is an all-weather event and will proceed rain or shine.
Only exceptionally severe weather conditions will affect the performance so come prepared.
Umbrellas, tents, and sunshades / sun shelters are not permitted, so please plan ahead and consider bringing a raincoat or poncho if there is inclement weather forecast.

All Festival tickets will be available digitally via the AXS mobile app, which you can download via the Apple App Store or Google Play.
After you have downloaded the app, you will be prompted to sign in with the same AXS account details that you used to purchase your Festival tickets. You will then be able to view your Festival tickets via AXS Mobile ID. You can read more about this here.
If you have purchased a premium Diamond Club Ticket you will download your ticket as above.
Additionally, once you arrive on site you will go through the Diamond Club express lane to receive your souvenir laminate and lanyard for Diamond Club access, express merch lane access and free welcome drink voucher.

Yes, we will be offering a payment plan option via AXS and PayPal’s Pay in 4 for those wanting to pay off your ticket purchase. If you’d like to use the payment plan option, make sure you have an active PayPal Account set up and ready to go PRIOR to purchasing your Festival ticket.

No, there are no concession tickets available.
We do not currently offer a resale facility. Keep an eye on Ridin’ Hearts socials for any updates closer to the Festival.
You can transfer your tickets to another person using the Transfer option within the AXS app.

Ridin’ Hearts is a General Admission event and reserved seating is not available. However, there will be an accessible viewing area at each Event. Accessible tickets and Companion Card tickets are available via AXS.
If you hold a government-issued Companion Card and you are purchasing an Accessible ticket to the Festival, you are eligible for one (1) complimentary ticket for your companion. Your companion will be eligible for the same entry ticket type as the paid ticket holder.
Accessible tickets and Carer Companion tickets can be accessed by submitting a request to AXS Customer Support using this form. An AXS Customer Support representative will contact you via phone or email to coordinate your purchase. All accessibility requests will be dealt with in the order they are received by AXS.

The accessible viewing area is for the sole use of Eligible Persons. To ensure the area is available and comfortable for those who need it, access to the viewing area will be determined at the discretion of Festival personnel.
– Patrons in wheelchairs will have priority.
– Patrons with Service Dogs will have priority.
– Only one companion is permitted to accompany each Eligible Person.
– Companions may be asked to stand in the back of the viewing area or move to the side if capacity is reached.
– Attendees are not allowed to save or hold spots on the viewing area.
– Viewing area space is allocated on a first come, first served basis.
– No BYO chairs are permitted on the viewing area.
– Patrons with a temporary injury (where they are not in a wheelchair) will be considered on a case by case basis and based on capacity of the viewing area at the time access is sought.
– Viewing area access is not guaranteed for all companions (particularly during headline artist performances).
– The viewing area will be managed by Festival personnel and/or security.
Sydney Olympic Park - The entire Olympic Park precinct is wheelchair accessible.
If patrons have a Mobility Parking Permit they can park on either Herb Elliot Ave or Olympic Blvd for free.
Caribbean Gardens - Accessible parking is available near the Festival entrance off Lakeview Drive, Scoresby; please follow the blue parking signs inside the car park. A valid accessible parking permit is required.

Ridin’ Hearts is an outdoor event and the Festival Site can be affected by inclement weather.
This means the grass area, paths and roads can become very muddy. We recommend you consider this in planning your attendance at the Festival and we encourage you to take extra precautions when moving around the Festival Site. As always, notify Festival personnel if you require assistance at any time.
Festival Site
The Festival is located within Sydney Showgrounds (Sydney) and Caribbean Gardens (Melbourne). Both venues have hardstand pathways leading to venue facilities but the areas are largely grassed areas. The areas are mostly flat, some parts are slightly sloped (particularly parts of Caribbean Gardens) and there are some uneven surfaces across both Festival Sites. The gravel and bitumen areas are not around the entire Festival Sites.
There will be accessible toilet facilities available at the Festival.
If you need to charge your motorised wheelchair or other medical equipment, you may do so at the First Aid Tent.
– Bring all cords and accessories needed to charge your devices (must be tested and tagged).
– We do not provide wheelchair, scooter or other mobility device rentals.
Only legitimate Assistance Animals are permitted within the Festival Site.
Assistance Animals permitted:
– Guide dogs
– Hearing dogs
– Mobility Support Animals (eg assist with limited mobility)
– Medical Alert Animals
– Psychiatric Service
Assistance Animals do not include:
– Emotional support or companion animals
– Therapy animals (including facility animals)
– Pets
Owners of Assistance Animals (expect guide dogs) will be required to provide proof that their animal is trained and, if applicable, has passed a Public Access Test. If you wish to bring an Assistance Animal to the Festival Site, please contact Promoter at if you require further details.
All Assistance Animals (except guide dogs) must be pre-registered before attending the Festival via submitting an Accessible and Companion Card ticket request to AXS Customer Support HERE.
Water for Assistance Animals will be available at the First Aid Tent.
Respect other Festival patrons by picking up after your Assistance Animal.
Do not leave your Assistance Animal in your vehicle or unattended.
Flicker, laser, strobe and other lighting effects may be in use at the Festival.

ARRIVING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Located only 30 mins from Sydney CBD & 15 mins from Parramatta there is ample public transport options, making it seamless and convenient for guests and fans to make their way to the Festival.
Getting to Sydney Olympic Park by train is easy – Sydney Olympic Park train services operate every 10-20 minutes between Lidcombe and Sydney Olympic Park stations (T7 Olympic Park Line) on weekdays, and every 10 minutes on weekends.

Yes! Sydney Olympic Park has parking spaces.
Carparks P1, P5 and P6 are in close proximity to Sydney Showground. Costs: $7.00 per hour, up to a maximum fee of $35.00 per day and allows for one entry and exit into your selected car park.
We recommend catching public transport but if you need to drive you should consider pre-booking parking. We recommend arriving early to avoid delays.

RINGWOOD STATION SHUTTLE
– Shuttles will depart Ringwood Station every 20 minutes from 11:00am to 3:00pm AEDT.
– Return shuttles will depart from the Festival from 8:00pm AEDT onwards.
– Ringwood pick-up point is Bus Bay 10, alongside Maroondah Hwy.

DANDENONG STATION SHUTTLE
– Shuttles will depart Dandenong Station every 20 minutes from 11:00am to 3:00pm AEDT.
– Return shuttles will depart from the Festival from 8:00pm AEDT onwards.
– Dandenong pick-up point is the bus stop in front of Cakes Gallery on 50 Foster Street (side of the station).

MELBOURNE CBD CITY SLICKERS EXPRESS BUS
– Buses will depart from Carlton Gardens at 11:00am and 1:00pm AEDT.

WILD WILD WEST EXPRESS
There are two pick up points on this bus route.
– Gisborne: Departs at 10:00 AM AEDT from the bus stop on Aitken Street (outside Coles).
– Sunbury: Departs at 10:15 AM AEDT from the Railway Station bus interchange.
– Return bus will depart from the Festival at 10:20pm AEDT.

Yes, you can purchase day parking from AXS.
There is limited parking available at the Festival and we recommend getting public transport or Festival buses.
We recommend arriving early to avoid delays.
Please note that parking outside the venue is not recommended, as parking restrictions are in force and is a considerable distance from the Festival site.
Accessible parking is available near the Festival entrance; please follow the blue parking signs inside the car park. A valid Accessible Parking Permit is required.

Maximum allowed bag Size is: 30cm x 30cm x 10cm.
Backpacks of any size are not permitted.
All bags will be subject to bag checking and other security measures upon arrival at the Festival. Please arrive early to ensure that you have plenty of time to proceed through security checks and any required check-in points prior to entering the Festival.
Subject to any artist photo policies which will be published on our website, you will generally be allowed to bring a personal digital camera and SLR camera to take photos of artists and/or the Festival.
However, professional photography equipment (eg telephoto lenses; any lenses over 5cm; any detachable lens; stands or other commercial equipment or anything deemed by Festival personnel to be professional photography equipment) are prohibited and will not be allowed at the Festival without promoter-issued media accreditation.
Festival staff will determine at their discretion whether something is professional photography equipment so if you’re not sure, we suggest you leave it at home.
You are allowed to take photos of artists and/or the Festival only on the basis that:
– Images are only used for private and personal use
– Images cannot be made available for sale / for charity and/or public exhibition or display
No, you are not allowed to bring an esky or outside food and drinks into the Festival. The Festival is fully catered and licensed, with a wide range of food and drinks available for purchase.
Free water stations will be available throughout the Festival.
You're welcome to bring an empty, clear (translucent) plastic refillable water bottle, no larger than 1L.
NO glass or metal bottles are permitted in the Festival.
Patrons with special dietary requirements may bring their own food into the Festival.
No, umbrellas are not permitted at the Festival.
All medication (prescription or over the counter) must be declared on entry and may need approval by a Festival medic. Medication is allowed to be brought into the Festival, under the following conditions:
– Medication must be in its original packaging and untampered.
– Medication must be placed in a clear, resealable bag.
– Medication must have proof of script.
– It must only be the dosage for that day.
All medication will be subject to normal security processes upon entry.
